Welcome back to Scribbles Open Mic! The first day of May landed on a Friday this year, so let's change it up on Scribbles Open Mic. Symbolism, themes and everything May! Let's throw in an optional creative challenge while we're at it. It's the perfect time with this month's first Inklings Radar posting soon!

~Bull symbolizes strength, fertility and virility, also a member of the Chinese Zodiac--the Taurus

~Taurus (April 20th-May 20th) The Bull, Earth Sign, dependable, patient, enjoyment of comfort, stability and security.

~Gemini (May 21st-June 20th) The Twins, Air Sign, duality, adaptability, intellectual curiosity and communication.

  • Flower:

    ~Lily of the Valley, the return of happiness, purity, humility and luck

    ~Hawthorn, protection, fertility, and the boundary between the human and faerie realm in Celtic folklore
